Well, I have now been back in the States for a little over two weeks now and I have been getting my head back into school mode. I just submitted my last (yes, last) assignment for my classes in SA and now that I am officially done, I want to go back. I know it's crazy (trust me, I think I've gone bonkers too) but I would get back on a plane right now and fly those taxing 22 and half hours to be back in Safe Haven looking out to the ocean and mountains.

I am so grateful for the time I got to spend in South Africa and the experiences I got to partake in. I mean, how many people can say they got to pet and feed and elephant in AFRICA??? Seriously cool. But even without all the fun things we got to do, I love South Africa for the history and culture, for the people that we got to meet, and for the inexplicable feeling of God everywhere I went or looked.
I'm still processing, and I don't think I will ever stop, which is necessary to live. To live an unexamined life is to not truly live at all. If you ever want to know more about my trip, my experiences, thoughts, or if you just want to dialogue about travel in general, please contact me through this website, or even shoot me an email at karafoster101@gmail.com.
