I finally visited Magnolia in Waco, Texas! I have been itching to get here ever since I started watching Fixer Upper and read The Magnolia Story.

I was in Texas for my cousin's wedding and I was able to go with my grandma for the day to see Magnolia Table and Market. It was super hot, but the sun was out and everyone was extremely nice. If I have the chance to go back I would probably go in the spring or fall, and definitely on a weekday. We arrived at Magnolia Table at 11:50AM so it was very busy and we only needed to just see it and buy a mug and get out so we didn't actually go in and sit down to eat. Instead, we went to the Silos and got food at the food truck 'Club Sandwich'. We each got a basic rice bowl with chicken, onions, cilantro and siracha ranch dressing. I'm not a rice person, but this was the best rice I have ever had (no joke!). I also got a Coco Latte at the food truck 'Luna Juice' that was pretty good but not strong enough for my taste.

We walked around a little, but because of the heat we didn't stay outside for long. We went inside the Market and basically had the realization that we are pretty cheap people, because I only ended up buying a mug (my second one- I have an addiction) and a bookmark (Hey, I am a Literature major at heart).

After that we made a stop at the bakery and got some sweets for the ride home. I got a Silo Cookie (chocolate chip with peanut butter chip and walnuts- YUM!) and an Elderflower Lemonade (I think I need to bulk order this drink. So. Good.) and my grandma got a nutty cinnamon roll (cinnamon roll plus pecans and maple syrup).

I know I want to go back when it's not so hot and explore more (and save more money for shopping). For now, here are some photos from our trip :)
